...and then a few hours later as I was wrapping up my visit, I took a swing through one last small-ish room with works by Jean McEwen, including a series of these watercolor diptychs. I'm still not entirely sure what it was about them, but I fucking wept. Stayed in that room for like half an hour.

was it overkill to do the work to turn a bottle of grapefruit juice at 11.8 Brix (sugar content) into a 12 Brix solution? ...possibly. but I'm still new-ish to this and it's a nice little brain workout (arguably more than it should be 😅), so why not

I was right! maybe. or it could have been a cracked fingerboard, unless heat-stripping it off reopened the previous crack I had no idea was there. or all of the above ! anyways, finally getting around to doing major work on my own violin, including fixing the terribly low projection. fun times ahead
