Why did Trump have himself put in charge of the Kennedy Center?

Because he knows that the educated and cultured people who patronize it despise him.

So he seeks revenge. And he knows that his being in charge of the center will destroy it.

What’s in a “muse”? This story resonates with a thriller l I’ve been reading lately, “Disclaimer” by Renee Knight. Hinges on the power, and theft, of women’s narratives.
Vanity Fair's weird story about Cormac McCarthy grooming an abused 16-year-old girl and then stealing her stories and voice for his books thing has really bothered me (and a lot of other women). A bit more on that subject from my memoir Recollections of My Nonexistence about muse as trap....

Don’t attribute subtle intelligence to a moron.
There’s a narrative that Gaetz was a deliberate head-fake — a distraction to boost the real candidate — but I am always suspicious of narratives that attribute four-dimensional chess to trump as opposed to knocking over the table and eating the checkers.
