1/3 of the way through this project (by yarn skein count). I’ve now fully integrated the first 5 skeins of my mako cotton yarn into my rainbow entrelac blanket! This is a smidge over 50 hours of work so far. #handmade #entrelacblanket #WIP #handmadeblanket #loomknitting #loomknit

Proud of myself for finishing my 3rd project of the year today despite being in a lot of pain. Loom knitting can take a lot out of me, but it’s always worth it when I get to see the final product. I really love how this handmade baby blanket turned out.

It’s my birthday and I’ll craft if I want to! (I’m sooooo obsessed with my mako cotton yarn, and since I have my entrelac WIP that I’m making with the only other mako cotton I have in my stash, I picked it up and played for a bit.)

My day at work wasn’t great today, so I’m trying to pep myself up with pics of my favorite actor in his new Lacoste brand ambassador photoshoot… Thank you, TZP, for being beautiful inside and out. #taylorzakharperez

Today ended up being the day I finished the 12th skein in my blanket and then finished the entire thing! 61.5 hours worked over 22 days. I’m so proud of myself! It’s also massive! 86 x 76 inches when just laid out versus being stretched (which makes it much larger).

Just realized I forgot to post the pic of my 11th skein being fully completed… I’ve got the 12th skein added in deeply enough that I’m actually on the final corner of this project and then just have one last side of work to finish!

Approximately 52 hours worked and I now have 10 complete skeins of yarn incorporated into my giant mako cotton blanket! A smidge over 3 sides of work left to do, then it’ll be done and I’ll get measurements. I’m so happy with how it’s turning out!
