I left Calgary over 25 years ago and although I love my giant cedars and ocean view, I miss the gold of the deciduous tree in the fall. I was rewarded with a rainbow yesterday !

Picked some roses yesterday.
It had me thinking of the beautiful poem The Last Rose of Summer written in 1805 by the Irish poet Thomas Moore and set to a beautiful Irish melody. (Nice distraction from the current politics of the world.)
