Remembering Dr. James D. Watson (1928–2025). His work uncovering the double-helix structure of DNA reshaped our understanding of life and opened new frontiers in genetics and medicine. His scientific legacy endures.

My PhD work shows, for the first time at single-cell resolution, that hypoxia-induced mitophagy creates transient & reversible mitochondrial, metabolic, and redox heterogeneity during hypoxia→reoxygenation, driving tumor adaptation & therapy resistance.
