“Another holiday successfully avoided.” Settles back at his desk.

The last of the paperwork is finally finished. He can now close out this lonely little holiday by sleeping the rest of it away.

Crawls into his bed curling up on his side.

“Merry Starlight to you all, I hope you have a wonderful day.”

Mistakes were made upon checking in during a break in his paperwork.

Is going to pretend he did not just see that.

Ducks his head back down to resume his work.

Will likely remain at his desk for the duration of the night, so he can sleep through the next day.

Sits at his desk, diligently getting stacks upon stacks of paperwork done a little at a time. To his right is a mug of hot chocolate, about as festive as he will be getting. Work always took priority.

It wasn’t like he had much family that were welcoming of him.

Nothing like the holidays to remind you how truly alone one can be. Mine own shall be spent alone amidst a crowd.

Work is essential after all.
