Red is generally fine because the journey is largely alone and frankly being the “silent protagonist” is so perfect for her.
However she doesn’t like crowds, or a lot of noise, and sometimes her definition of a crowd is 3 other people…

The interesting thing about the question is do you consider the shards to be unique people. If the former it’s a bit weird hitting on yourself (*cough* Heinlein *cough*) but if distinct it’s just people.
