Well now that I've migrated here, might as well be shameless and show off the essay I made last year that I'm still proud of. Even though I'm on hiatus, I am slowly but surely writing some scripts for when I feel ready to return.

With the encouragement of my partner and the sweet furries in the discord I joined to support said partner's hobby, I finished this piece! Definitely going to try pursuing commission work now that I've gotten confirmation from multiple furries that they would pay for this. #art #furry #furryart

I understand now why cis girls can feel devastated when a cute pair of shoes/boots doesn't fit. Hopefully one of the local cobblers can stretch the toe box enough for my wide, flat feet.

I'm happy that I've slowly but surely gotten back into enjoying drawing again. Some friends have suggested I start doing commissions this summer.

Decided to try and watch The Witcher Sirens of the Deep because of merfolk and was impressed at how bad of a movie it is. I hate shitting on films because whole teams work on them, but at its core, a lot of the movie's problems stem from seeming to be terrified of expressing strong emotions.

Sandwich and soup cooking has been a very enjoyable little hobby since it was motivated by my partner and I wanting to be healthier.

I got these little jars for storage and so my partner can take leftover soup to work. Needless to say, I feel a bit more witchy now.

The couple of female friends I've cultivated are so sweet. Both insist that the name I'm going to use starting in June is really pretty and insist that I get a copy of the character's outfit that most inspires my transition.

While going to pick up brochures from my speech pathologist's office to give my LGBTQ hair salon, I learned I'm something of a micro celebrity there. Apparently it's because I'm so pleasant and the sincere relationship with my partner is THAT adorable to the women who work there.

As I get further into my medical transition, I find myself obsessing over Aerith and Tifa again, who I always wished were my older sisters. It's helping me find the confidence to continue emulating them as I hold my breath and take the first plunge in finding a meaningful circle of female friends.

I finally found the inspiration to do a new video essay about Beauty and the Beast. While outlining, I'm working on discussing Gaston and the mentality around this meme. Needless to say, seeing people actually defend it was like watching clips of the women who defended Ted Bundy.

Shifting pre-production on game mechanics to working on story structure has been a welcome change of pace for my partner and I's indie game project. Probably helps that what I want to make is about the size of an N64 game.

Breaking down Woodfall Temple was very enjoyable since I personally find it an ideal 1st dungeon. It has a simple floor plan and mostly requires you to work with established mechanics to progress while being a little less straight forward than other 1st dungeons.

Something I was doing in May was breaking down 3D Zelda dungeons to best understand the flow of the critical path in each one. I should do more of these because it made for an enlightening activity.

Another, smaller video that I had fun making. I'm currently drafting scripts to bring more Disney Princesses into D&D. It felt like a good small steps approach for making videos again in the future and it's fun to carve out a space where D&D can be girlier.

Another, smaller video that I had fun making. I'm currently drafting scripts to bring more Disney Princesses into D&D. It felt like a good small steps approach for making videos again in the future and it's fun to carve out a space where D&D can be girlier.
