My phone wallpaper is very cute. Not what I was originally going for. It was Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but it don’t seem appropriate. A lot of people see my phone at work because it sits on my desk.

I’m so happy to announce that we now have a whole continuing education course at work on “Waste, fraud, and abuse” in Medicaid/Medicare.
It’s not a thing that was ever an issue where I work. Like, wasn’t a problem at all.

okay, I know this is a little weird, but last night I was woken up by extreme etching behind my knees and the back of my legs. I have these lines of bumps, and strangelt, they are right near where I recently had small bruises. What IS this? It’s so itchy!

For anyone who’s been on the edge of their seats waiting for updates on my retinal tear/detachment; The first procedure didn’t work, so I had to have a vitrectomy. Look it up (trigger warning, and here are some pics of my healing process (also, trigger warning) over the past 8 days.

I’m going to see the ophthalmologist today to see if my retinal tear has healed. I know it hasn’t because, well, it’s my vision. They said it if didn’t heal, I’d have to have a legit surgery bc there has been fluid under the tear. Do you think if I beg and plead for one more week, they’ll cave?

…optician because otherwise I would have no idea what they were talking about. I hardly did, anyway. So I am off work for 11 days, I have surgery the day after I come home and must exhaust my remaining PTO on my week of recovery! Good thing my boss is my best friend who actually cares about me!
