Set your party loyalties aside. The battle is no longer about red versus blue. It's about democracy versus authoritarianism. Moderates need to come together to save democracy.

This is why I see purple. We need to vote in new leaders on both sides of the aisle who are committed to reform

Democrats are also complicit in this grift. Everything is run by the billionaires, for the billionaires. We must get rid of the legacy Dems, as well as young ones like Richie Torres, who are already bought and paid for.

Citizens United decision won’t be overturned by the courts. We need a constitutional amendment to reverse it. Time to vote in a whole new generation of leaders who are committed to reform

Time to replace them all, starting with 2026 senate and house elections

I have little to no reach. I need your help to spread this simple graphic around. It's damn important. The admin has said they will not comply with the courts. If they get away with this they can disappear anyone they want. This effects YOU, ME and every one of us. REPOST the image!

No they will not. We need new leaders on both sides of the aisle

The Democratic Party has proven to be ineffective and I have no faith they can capitalize on this moment. We need to do a full sweep and bring new leaders in on both sides of the aisle. Then we push through reform legislation that is long overdue

I respectfully disagree. I think there are more anxious moderates in the Republican party than you might think. They just need a safe place to come home to. I for one will keep doing my part to engage them. I don’t think widening the gap benefits any of us.

I agree. I believe Trump will invoke the Insurrection Act and will clamp down even more on dissenters.

What exactly would you never be able to do?

That very well could be true. And we should investigate the hell out of it. Meanwhile, I can guarantee there are people who voted for Trump who did not expect what is happening. Rather than alienating them, we should bring them back into the fold. We need every American voice to save democracy.

I agree completely. But I will tell you, I saw many posts from "middle-of-the-road" voters, especially those who were struggling to pay their bills, who said they had to put aside their dislike for Trump in favor of a better economic future.

I hear you. The economy was humming along, but Fox News & right wing media convinced millions of Americans that inflation woes were due to bad Democratic policies and that the economy was doing poorly. All lies, but many believed them. We need those people to meet us in the middle to save democracy

I believe most Americans are moderates and a portion of them voted for Trump because they were worried about the economy and don't trust the Democrats. We all need to set party loyalties aside. The battle is no longer about red versus blue. It's about democracy versus authoritarianism.
