This is a blank King Gordo I got from Jim McKenzie during earlier Pandemic days. Didn't get far before things went sideways for me, but had a little time more recently and "Sugar Skull King Gordo" is moving along.
The back is getting pretty close; still a small list in the front.

It is six to seven inches tall and facing away from the viewer, displaying the back. The dog has been painted a fairly deep blue, although whiter areas in the tail and haunches give the suggestion of a semi-cartoonish skeleton. The dog is wearing a black jacket which has a slight sheet like leather, as well as a metallic champagne-gold crown, the eight points of which are short, gracefully curved tentacles. Three simulated "patches" appear on the back of the jacket. Two arcing banner patches form a ring around a central image. The banners are styled after motorcycle club patches with blocky lettering. The banner arching over the top of the central image reads "DIA DE LOS GORDOS" in a somewhat old-fashioned serifed typeface. A similar patch in sans-serif fonts curves around the bottom and reads "LIVE to CREATE to LIVE." The image in the middle of the ring formed by the arched patches is a depiction of one of Jim's crab pumpkins which is essentially a pumpkin with red crab legs and big pincers. The pumpkin has an eye with a vertical slit that is shaped like an inverted triangle and a jagged red line for a mouth that resembles a graphing output or EKG as much as it does teeth. A narrow glimpse of the side of the dogs face is visible and has been painted white; a black area at the nose and what appears to be a toothy mouth, also in black, are suggested from what can be seen in this shot.
