They are banking on the lack of 'if' happening.

This is the conspiracy theory from the 2024 election runup. Just ridiculous and clearly made up bullshit. I know someone who believes this 100% and I can't even have a conversation with him anymore.

The Republican Plan: Kill off the poor and non-white population. Take whatever wealth remains from the middle class, returning non-royals to peasantry. Force them to work solely for more profits for the rulers until they die.

I wish we had organized this nationwide for Black Friday. Bravo.

Cassidy betrayed hundreds of millions of his fellow Americans because he would not buck MAGA when it counted. He's a traitor who doomed millions to disease and death.

Trump has always wanted to be one of the cool kids in Manhattan. He's starstruck by someone who has that kind of charisma.

Just shows where they are headed.

It seems interesting to me that the right wing wants to portray itself to having certain values. They know which values are important to American society.

They just do not actually value those things themselves. It's like an AI chirping pre-fed information in response to a prompt.

They dismissed charges against the victim, not against the shooter.

I don't know. This is the first thing that's stuck to Trump for longer than a week. Bondi's claim that there were no Epstein files came on July 8. It's still front and center 4 months later, even after a month-long government shutdown. It is not going away.

No. The investigation has to be pertinent to the individual. Unless they are investigating Trump, that dog don't hunt. Blanket investigations are not allowed under this law.
November 20, 2025 at 2:38 AM
The lawyers who crafted the bill were smart. They anticipated all kinds of attempts to escape transparency. No blanket claim of investigation is going to hold up. They'll try it, of course, so it will take a while. But a near-unanimous bill will be compelling to the courts. We will get the docs.
November 20, 2025 at 1:13 AM
Not to burst your bubble, but the bill was written to prevent that. Each redaction has to be documented individually, and can only be redacted for very narrowly defined reasons.

Sure, they will try that. But it won't hold up. The lawyers who wrote the bill knew what they were doing.

Read the bill. They can't redact without documenting every redaction individually. I get the knee-jerk reaction to doom and gloom, but the bill was written specifically to preempt attempts to redact or omit en masse.

The people who wrote the bill knew what they were doing.
