O wow that’s amazing. That makes sense. In that case I wonder what happens to senescent cells after processes like limb regeneration. Do the senescent cells get cleared or are there ques to return to normal.

Interesting! What if cancer cell lines just took 14 days to recover from the Irr? That would suggest they were responding to an inflammatory stress and never senescent?

Sorry I’m new to senescence and trying to figure out what is reliable and what is not!

Hello Sienna! Great paper do you happen to know if BCL proteins are up during general activation of microglia? I am wondering if microglia survive a DAMP signal also up-regulates BCL2.
