Art of any kind peaks when they inspire other artist to make more from the source material. Art is like a huge collaborative effort from all of humanity where old art inspires new art which inspires even newer art which creates this family tree of ideas that can be traced back to the first artists

I do that but with blender, definitely not a waste of time, Minecraft honestly is probably more efficient
