Such an amazing day today at the CHLS Conference! Excellent presentations from our PGRs, which did an amazing job in explaining their projects and achievements in 5 min-5 slides format. Well done to you all! It was a pleasure to chair a session and to see my PhD student Tanvir presenting his work!

Today, I presented some of our preliminary data at the #SFEBES2025 of the study of the impact of PRL to hypothalamic neurons. Thanks the organisers for this opportunity! The big auditorium was a bit intimidating, but I was all right eventually 😅

Another important purpose of the research visit to Brazil was to go to my former institution ICB @uspoficial.bsky.social to learn with Prof Karina Thieme epigenetic methodologies and have some valuable advices from my former supervisor Prof Jose Donato Jr. Thank you so much for the warm support!

So thrilled to return to Brazil in a research visit to teach stereotaxic surgery for postgraduate students from Federal University of Sao Paulo (Unifesp), and discuss collaborations with my friend Prof Lila Oyama! The heat wave is a bit difficult to bear, though 🥵
