Even though 1 hadn't drawn him in like a solid year and a half, decided to go for it and promise I didn't mean to make him so solemn 🥲👉🏻👈🏻 For those unfamiliar, he and his hubby get a lot of sun and moon imagery, and usually Joe is featured as the sun for his beaming lovely personality but I was aiming for some duality, especially with how prominent the moon is in the Islamic faith and culture, as well as the ebb and tide the moon stirs in the ocean (i.e. emotions) so yeah, that was the initial idea, and then ...It took a bit of a "dark night of the soul" homage 👀
