Hi Emilia!
I love how you stated you are going to make nutrition a priority in your profession as a healthcare provider. This class really taught us just how much false information is out there, and we don't want our patients falling into those traps! #beh353 @beh353.bsky.social

Hi Monica, I tend to reach for those foods too! Since I'm living back at home this year, I plan to have more balanced meals and drink a lot more water rather than caffeine. Good luck with finals! #beh353 @beh353.bsky.social

Hi Celine, what a great article. I agree that it is easy to read and that the graphics are great for children to be included in their healthy eating journey! #beh353 @beh353.bsky.social

Hi Himani, I agree with you! Tom’s story is a powerful reminder that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to weight loss and the approach can be altered to your lifestyle. Creating a judgment-free space for patients is key to helping them find what works for them. #beh353 @beh353.bsky.social

I also noticed this point! The system is set to fail those in low-income communities. Children from low-income families are the ones buying school lunch, and they are not guaranteed a nutritional meal from it. Then after school all they can afford is a fast food chain. #beh353 @beh353.bsky.social

Hi Liu,
I relate to this barrier as well. As college students, it is hard to stay on top or have resources for a healthy diet. Unhealthier foods are easier to warm up in microwaves in the dorms and are cheaper to grab at the store. #beh353 @beh353.bsky.social

Hi Shivani, thanks for sharing this article! I had no clue magnesium glycinate could benefit anxiety. I also noticed how the article uses the verbage "lowering RISK" a lot, rather than stating its a cure or prevention to follow FDA requirements. #beh353 @beh353.bsky.social

Hi Tanisha!
I did not know canned foods were full of good nutrients. I thought they were full of preservatives and were unhealthy. Thanks for sharing! #beh353 @beh353.bsky.social
