My newest draft is over the 60,000 word mark. It's been two months averaging 1,000 words/day. Fastest I've ever written a novel first draft. My first one took somewhere around three years. My second? Over a year. TAB'S TERRIBLE THIRD EYE took about six months, IIRC.

My newest draft is over the 60,000 word mark. It's been two months averaging 1,000 words/day. Fastest I've ever written a novel first draft. My first one took somewhere around three years. My second? Over a year. TAB'S TERRIBLE THIRD EYE took about six months, IIRC.
