I asked this exact hypothetical to someone who posted negative stuff about Assist Mode on r/celestegame, and - lo and behold - OP said that they would tell this streamer "to decide if (Celeste) is for him or not."
So, yeah, some anti-Assist Mode people really ARE just ableist fucks.

I remember years ago when Mr. Majama raided a streamer who was attempting to beat Celeste using only voice controls to account for his disability.

Finished getting 100% in Silksong today, and while there are a few things about it that I wasn't a fan of, it was one of the absolute best experiences I've had playing a game. 10/10 no question, incredibly fun game and I was just absolutely blown away by how big it is on so many occasions.
