Don't forget to try in mind.
I read the shit out of those collections as a kid.

Is there another album ever that has a video game style "bad ending" and "good ending"?

Yo.

Oh, I was a visitor, not a patient. Hopefully no more hospital any time soon.

Every video game is a stealth game, the way I play. When I play Street Fighter, I play with Guile and I play with guile.

Yeah, characters are like fuzzy clouds of vague traits. Character descriptions never stick for me.

I've spent a lot of time waiting in a hospital this week. A lot of "nothing to do but read" time. But in that environment there were just enough interruptions to make following this book impossible. Had to wait to go home before breaking out the GR.

Does that seem like a problem? In the book or in the games?

I hate bananas but Banana Breakfast makes me wish I loved them.

An enjoyable slog? I'm expecting some future days to be a bit rougher.

Actually, I chuckled at the coincidence of a batman named Wayne for a second before it clicked that it was intentional.

I used to have a group that at the start of each block we'd each open 6 packs and build decks with those cards. Each week we'd open 2 packs each and modify or rebuild our decks. Trading was allowed but only within the group. When the next block started, we'd reset. Best format ever.

Some friends of mine formed a book club about 10 years ago and I picked GR. I was the only one in the group to finish the book and it killed the club. I liked it a lot, but all I remember is the vibes. I've retain little of the specifics. I've read and liked other Pynchon too.

67 been a gap in my collection for years. Stupid Him raising the price.

It felt like they had just barely been re-added to the toybox after years away. To remove them again so quickly, particualry for storytelling this limp, really sucked. Just not as much as the Timeless Child stuff.

I've been digging into my superhero blindspots and the Defenders was a major revelation. I love the weirdness of Hulk befriending a deer and the elf with a gun, but what I really love is that the Defenders are just some friends who hang out together and the wizard's house is the hangout spot.
