Like I get it but this is a team coming off of 17th and some of the worst football I’ve ever seen out of Tottenham. I think it’s really easy to underestimate the job Franks walked into. So for me, in spite of the terrible underlying numbers he isn’t doing as awful a job as some here seem to think.

Yeah, the larger context being, as I thought was clearly alluded, that considering the context Frank and this team find themselves in, things are OK and not terrible. A comparison to Nuno’s tenure, in this instance, isn’t useful.

We looked bad yesterday yeah oop but I really wouldn’t say we’ve generally looked bad defensively this season.

This parallel doesn’t really demonstrate anything apart from the loose association between Frank and Nunos football. Otherwise, these are vastly different contexts.

Although we have looked good against City and PSG. I’m not disputing that we look bad in possession but I think he can be afforded a bit more grace considering injuries and him trying to figure out who plays best where in a very demanding schedule.

If there’s no improvement in our possession game after the int break, then I’ll be concerned. Rn this is ok

4th in both the CL and PL is objectively good. We can talk about our performances in possession and the dire need for improvement but there’s no need to be hyperbolic.

Rightfully so. However odd considering Ali Gold had reported (a few weeks ago) that Lange was quickly gaining high regard around Hotspur Way. Serious questions around processes at this club
