Made an account because I missed the bus on twitter. I want to meet new people with similar interests and possibly market myself? I like to write so I'm gonna use this to share my work with whoever cares.
I would love it if my tax dollars funded education for immigrants, undocumented or otherwise, food and housing for people with no income, and foreign aid that improved people's quality of life. That sounds fucking sick, actually.

So excited to see The Monkey tonight. Can't believe I get to watch it an entire week before the release date.

I'm immediately critical of anyone who uses the term "normie" unironically. I remember being obsessed with wanting to be unlike anyone else. Then I turned 16 and got over myself.

I really wish the left would co-opt "facts don't care about your feelings." We have literally all the evidence on our side and the right insists on letting base fears and ignorance (feelings) rule their lives. The left is more logical and I'm so tired of seeing people assume that's not the case.

I disagree with the rules for punctuation in regards to quotation marks.

At risk of seeming/being reductive, I think I understand why there tends to be more cognitive dissonance on one side than the other. It requires some assumptions, so it's very possible I'm wrong.
I think people generally like to think they're good people that believe the right thing.

"It's because you called everyone a nazi." I called people nazis because they were nazis. They were just less overt about it. Now, elon is straight up doing sieg heils on stage and defenders are calling it an awkward gesture spurred by his autism. The problem isn't that we called everyone nazis.

Don't mind me, just reexamining my perception of my own writing skill. I might actually be trash.

Currently cringing out of my skin reading material I wrote 10 years ago. Send help.

Creating a logogram is fun and all but, man, I have no idea how to decide how granular to make it. Is a language without a specific symbol for "cat" even worth it?

Working on a thinkpiece why male SA isn't taken seriously but it's hard to motivate myself when I know it won't change anyone's mind. If anyone reads it at all.

I had no idea thinkpieces were so difficult to write. Why is it so hard to transcribe ideas I've considered and refined for decades?

I'm so lucky I don't know many English people. I have no patience for their wack-ass pronunciation. What do you mean "green" is pronounced "gren" if "wich" is pronounced "itch" right after it? That's dumb. Why is "uce" silent in Gloucestershire? And why is "shire" pronounced "sure"? It's so silly.

I've been seeing more and more posts about sharijg your art even if it's shitty so here's my poorly drawn comic called "why I dislike centrists"

Trying to take a long exposure picture with my phone through a telescope in 35° weather wasn't a great idea. Pretty good one though

Is it normal to be so burnt out from personal and professional responsibilities, you don't have the energy or creativity to write? Asking for myself.
