I lost a very good friend this weekend. I was with him only a few weeks ago. He was the heart of the ‘Engineering Society’, trips without him will not be the same. life is cruel

Just finished season 2 of Black Snow on BBC iPlayer. Season 1 was brilliant so I had high hopes for season 2 and I wasn’t disappointed. Best tv series this year

Finally, Maidenhead Utd win a game this season. Definitely a game of two halves, first half they were shite, worst I’ve seen in about 10 years but the second half they were much better; a lot more fight and spirit. If they’d played that way in the first half, we’d have been out of sight by half time

City of Liverpool had a player sent off in the 2nd half but he still took a penalty and scored and was then sent off again. How was he allowed to take a penalty in the first place? 2/2

So, went to watch Swallowfield FC v City of Liverpool FC in the FA Vase preliminary round. Good game and was all square after 90 minutes. Game went to penalties but am a bit confused.1/2
