1 month later and its worse, plus I'm having to paint on a happy face because its Christmas. God I could do with a Hallmark movie moment right about now.
Resilience training at work pisses me off, but I should probably have been paying attention to apply the lessons to dating... That world is brutal, dysfunctional and no-one with a duty of care towards you to be found

Being autistic is proving surprisingly helpful travelling in an unfamiliar country.
Looking things up in advance, googling when I'm unsure, waiting and watching what others do and copying them, is essentially my MO even in my own culture & has helped me avoid some mistakes here and blend in better.

The delivery of my weighted blanket has been delayed and now I don't know when it's going to arrive and it might be when I'm away and sit outside as a 'please burgle this place' beacon and this is not having the effect on my anxiety I was hoping for from this purchase ...

How am I enjoying this warm weather? why, by working overtime with a stinking cold to try and hit a deadline. My feeling of gloom only temporarily relieved by donning my new fake crocs to retrieve, with a mild air of smugness, a previously purchased fan from the garage. Ah, the joys of adulthood.
