So... at the cost of having a "shadow" below every sprite, the combat system now supports proper 3D coordinate tracking and collisions! This will allow enemy attack patterns to be much more complex.

Had to rewrite RMMZ's whole text rendering pipeline, but now I can fully customize font properties for specific characters in a message as function of index and frame, meaning they can be animated!

A very primitive aiming system because I was sick of inputting numbers. I found out that VisuStella's zoom feature conflicts with my collision calculations, so I just have to ensure the camera is reset whenever a projectile is spawned, like in this charge shot.

Small but important update: projectiles can now have an area of effect, and blast damage can be calculated based on distance to the impact point. This will be relevant to distinguish single-target and area attacks.

Hey there! I'm not dead. Yet.
So, I wasn't fully satisfied with VisuStella's projectile plugin, so I've written my own dynamic version that considers hitboxes. This makes the size and spatial distribution of enemies relevant against certain types of abilities.
