I agree. And I abhor that we will be Turkey or Hungary. And it is important to fight back now because the longer we are Turkey or Hungary the harder it will be to get back to the USA.

What's stupid about this argument is that a regime doesn't have to be fascist to be abhorrent. Whatever one thinks the current regime is (we seem to be at early Modi/Erdoğan at a minimum), even incipient authoritarianism is repugnant and extremely worrying. Silly to demand it be labeled fascistic .

Maybe it's because Americans aren't on the whole, great people. If large swaths of people worry more about Riley Gaines having to share 5th place with a trans swimmer than electing an objectively vile corrupt asshole, there's only so much convincing you can do as a Democrat.

Birthright citizenship is a matter that screams for nationwide resolution, and denying a nationwide injunction may cripple that happening. Knowing it will lose on appeal, the Trump administration has little incentive to bring any appeal so there never will be any definitive answer to the question.

A definitive resolution of the birthright citizenship matter has to be done sooner rather than later. It is beyond insane to have someone's US citizenship depend on which court district or circuit you live in. That is the type of question screaming for a nationwide resolution ASAP.

They unknowingly cause harm in virtually everything they do because they pledge allegiance to Trump, and Trump is incredibly stupid. There are a few exceptions - when they knowingly cause harm because in addition to being stupid they are assholes.
