I'll end 2025 having read 117 books, mostly fiction. I think I may have baked that many recipes as well.

How exactly does history repeat itself? Europeans in the 1930s were accused of being hysterical over their warnings about Hitler's rise to power & his intentions to remake the world as he saw fit.

Here we are 90 years later and we're called hysterical again. This is why we can't have nice things.

You've got to hand it to Trump for successfully marketing Putin to the American public as a likable guy. We're now to a point where the MAGA morons are inured and unfazed when Trump calls Putin for policy advice on the war in Ukraine and western Europe in general.

As we approach midterms season let me remind you that what he's done to America in less than a year is nothing compared to what he plans to do before anyone casts a vote in November.

Look where America is and it hasn't been a year into his dictatorship.

His voters will use delusional excuses to defend his crimes against young girls. No matter the evidence found in the Epstein files, he is their only hope for the creation of an all white christian country. They will never turn on him. In fact, given the chance, they'd vote for him again.

A federal judge has blocked the Trump admin's effort to strip attorney Mark Zaid's security clearance.

Zaid represented a whistleblower whose complaint led to Trump's first impeachment.

Something I'd expect from a clown. Oh, wait, that's right, they are.
How embarrassing it is to watch our once-esteemed Department of Justice behave like this.

Explaining to professional writers how to do their jobs screams I am NOT skilled at managing any of this. Ms. Weiss is clearly in over her head.
Bari Weiss just sent this Christmas Eve email to the CBS News staff about "building trust," which includes her tripling down on spiking the CECOT piece "to make sure it's comprehensive and fair."

One CBS staffer tells me: "She really has no idea how insulting she comes across."

Lunch.
Mixed Mushrooms (White, Brown, Shiitake, Maitake), Yellow & Purple Onions, Mozzarella, Smoked Gouda, Italian Parsley, Garlic Olive Oil.

It's fair to say Bari Weiss is bad for free speech. Speculating on the smallest details of her destructive agenda will not stop Paramount from green lighting her proposals because obviously Trump has his hands all over CBS.

Grab em by the editor-in-chief, you can do anything.

A failing female rapper does what she's gotta do even if it means aligning herself with the Nazi party. I guess she figures their numbers are adequate to keep her career alive as long as they buy her music. I want to know if she can make a living attending TPUSA and CPAC events?

I'll believe until I take my last breath that MAGA republicans, no matter how much they're hurting under Trump's regime, will cast a vote for him again if given a chance. It astounds me that so many of them lost family during COVID as a result of his leadership and yet they voted for him in 2024.

North Shore O'ahu in 1984 where I ate my first Hawaiian breakfast of mac salad, rice, Portuguese sausage, spam and snotty eggs. DELICIOUS. Yesterday I made Hawaiian mac salad for Christmas eve dinner. It's really just an excuse to eat mayonnaise. If you know, you know.

Latest Epstein files name Trump multiple times
In the more than 10,000 files released Tuesday, Jeffrey Epstein’s brother, Mark Epstein, said the sex trafficker was killed because he was going to name co-conspirators.

If there's leadership inside the democratic party then why do news outlets keep reporting the party's division over how to retake the house and senate in 2026? It seems that a story about cannibalizing one's own tribe is calculated to destroy moral and plant doubt. God knows it gets tons of clicks.
