(3/3) I found out it is all too easy for people to move anyone with a disability into the “other” box, separate from their experience, so that they aren’t reminded of how fragile their own bodies are. But we all are. That is what I hoped to say. And I’m better practiced at caring for mine now :)

(2/3) Yum yum forbidden blue drink. I use salt pills now these days. For the longest time I think I sat on this because when I shared this zine in class- people started to treat me as if I was to be coddled. I didn’t expect that.

(1/3) A zine I made in 2021 and oddly got the courage to post now, randomly, 4 years later. Because I wish I had heard of POTS sooner. Hope this helps reach someone who doesn’t know why they get dizzy standing in long lines.

Hey! my recent big win is finishing my personal short film of over FIVE YEARS. (It survived the pandemic, a year of no drawing due to carpal tunnel, two breakups and it still, somehow, got done this weekend). Can’t wait to start showing bits and submit to festivals.

me dropping animatic scenes from #sunnysidedown out of context just so you know that we're still making it! My studio finished animating the first short (2 min), plus a trailer, and onto ep 2 now. I boarded this thinking of the ratatouille scene... duh

my queer joy of the week was drawing my nonbinary hairdresser as a #winxclub fairy. Kajsa wears their hair like this IN REAL LIFE!! The heart braids are iconic... They were so kind in touching up my shaved sides for free recently, had to do something to surprise em :)
