wanting a protagonist to not frustrate you at any point in time is just such a boring way to go about storytelling, is what i’m saying here i guess

real life people will almost always react to a stressful situation with what limited information they do have, sometimes it isn’t the “right” response but it’s all they can do. this applies to fictional characters too… i don’t know why so many people want characters to always make the right choice
