NYT has a few of these “following x people” articles now. W/carefully counter-balanced “checkbox” moments, none of them truly convey the overwhelming and very concrete fears, anger, or sorrow I see and hear in many of my friends/family, students, & coworkers. Like we’re all hysterical aberrations.

Completing Today’s NYT crossword was a lot like playing Starfield for me: I could almost hear the puzzle pointing out all the reasons that I of all people should, in fact, actually love it. Like it was frustrated and sad that I was finding it so tedious. Sorry, puzzle.

Taking a break from the dumpster fire of the U.S. today and imagining my magic commute on another planet is very peaceful. Ironically (I'm *no* graphic designer), this light-rail map is probably my favorite visual so far from my made-up world. Original, transliterated, and translated to English. 🧚‍♂️
