Been a bit inactive on Bluesky, I haven't been inactive in art, though. I've also just discovered that Oil is an awesome medium.

I went into the art store meaning to buy a new sketchbook. I came out of it with all of the stuff to do oil paintings and $120 dollars poorer.

I have only a few pages left in my sketchbook to be filled out. That's means time for a new one very soon. When I get that new sketchbook, I have resolved to post EVERYTHING I draw in it. Good or bad. Practice sheet, messy sketch, finished drawing, or failure. It'll all be here.

First time actually drawing again in like a month. It's also midnight, and I have no idea if what I drew is any good. Imma post it anyway, and hope that it's not something I regret in the morning.

In Japan, there is a way of growing plants called BONSAI. This is all about how to limit the size and appearance of the plant on a small container to make it look beautiful. Humans are mysterious creatures.
