I'm sure I'm not the first to say this, but why don't one of the millonaires out there with a social conscience write these stations a check? That could be a bridge to help until we get a new congress to reallocate funds to public media

I watched and I agree with Marc. I also would love to put energy into this effort. What we need to first figure out is how to build a multi-generational "public square" to exchange ideas in a neutral, safe site. I am a journalist, and I've felt very frustrated about not being able to be active

Goodall was a valuable voice in these stressful times. She was kind, modest, outspoken and brilliant. What a great woman, a great feminist, a great scientist and a great human being.

In that question of which celebrated person you'd most want to have dinner with, I always said Jane Goodall. She stayed engaged with life until the end. She maintained her principles and her dedication to animals, the environment, and social fairness.

I feel sick watching this. Americans must not tolerate a secretive, lawless and unaccountable armed militia going after our citizens who have the right to protest.
