Three retired surgeons were bragging about their deeds. One bragged he had a patient show up with 2 missing legs from a tractor accident. He fixed him up & he became the greatest NBA player of all time. Another bragged he had a patient show up who had both arms bitten off by a shark.

As both a biologist and environmental scientist, it pains me to experience the amount of rejection I’ve seen for science and learning in general over the last decade.
