Oh my god this is precious. In my head, once soap catches on that ghost always comes back from leave with new socks and baked goods etc, at first he thinks ghost Has Someone. Ofc then he’s jealous and dumb about it. Ignores ghost for a lil while. Cue Sad Simon! Somehow it all gets fixed, duh!

This ENTIRE thing is so lovely and perfectly angsty. I would adore an epilogue bit if you so choose, but totally get it if you decide not to, as well. Thanks for sharing this with us!!

I really am not trying to sound cold about it- but in my experience, the lingering like that is more to help us the humans than the animals, you know? And i do GET IT. It’s not an easy choice. I just…would have made it a few days sooner, I guess. But idk what other info he had that I didn’t.

you might take a look at bottom ghost week (I think that managed to cross over here??) and see how those prompts were run! tenz (@/sultrysunset) was one of the mods I think! in case that provides any inspiration! (I think they are here on under the same username too!)
