Now the eye raising comments by the Ole Miss coach on parental responsibilities needing to take a backseat to football bear some scrutiny. Worse than the Vikings axing their GM for family leave.

It's much the same playback the Alabama basketball player tried and was eventually denied. Handpicked local judge in a selected venue with ties to the school . It's also a temporary restraining order 6 months before fall camp. Quit editorializing and see where it eventually ends up.

With all due respect they were gawd awful before Parsons went down. Once teams saw and adapted the Cowboys strategy in the tie game of getting the ball out quickly. Valentine gave up almost as many big plays whiffing on tackles as he did in coverage.

The one planned for central Virginia in Hanover was scuttled due to public backlash. The owner who planned to sell it was Canadian. I think a few others around the country had the sale fall through.

That's what the NFL wants. Once they moved the game to prior to the Superbowl instead of after it the intent was clear. Making it flag football and removing the incentive of being in Hawaii was just smothering a terminal patient with a pillow. They deliberately tanked interest the game.
