I'm a gardening social activist. I try to focus on being kind.
It's also so no one will recognize them especially since they are violating civil rights/constitutional rights. These men have little to no training.

This is just scary. Looking ahead to the next election and all the disenfranchised voters there will be.

I had anemones start to bloom last fall. They bloomed all winter and are still blooming!

Seems like no matter how soon I move them into my shed to dry out and go dormant, I can't get them to rebloom around Christmas. I have one blooming now and another one about to open.

Lovely so there will be an outbreak like in Texas. I thought Washingtonians had more sense.

My columnar apple has gotten SO tall and it doesn't have just one leader but several.

Yup. That's right. When I lived in Olympia, WA, I was surrounded by woods and had those growing in the woods.

A second time? I've never heard of an amaryllis doing that. So it sent up a second stalk from the same bulb?

So good to hear the WEP is no more. Hoping that means my SS checks will be what they always should have been.

OMG. I didn't think this would happen. Because I taught school for six years, my social security was reduced by the same amount as the small pension I get for teaching. Still, I will be amazed if I see a change in my benefits. Fingers crossed and prayers!

I stopped going to Starbucks some time ago. Coffee is lousy anyway. I do have some cool cups from there but don't darken their door any more.

Yup. This past week showed that. He's the one holding the reins. Damn scary.

Bakersville? Is that Baker Creek Heirloom seeds?

Wow.

I cover mine with leaves and straw. I buy a bale a year for that purpose. Clear soil doesn't stay that way so covering is important, unless you want pull shot weed and others in the middle of the winter.

That is a sad thought.

Used to see a lot of ice plant in CA but no where else. It's frost tender.

Years ago, I went to Portland Rose Garden and played my game of which rose do I like the best. Out of all those roses, I chose Hot Cocoa. I still grow it.

I've never had my car detailed so never thought of that. Hum. Thinking if for some reason, some time I might do that, I'll ask what they use and ask them to eliminate anything with fragrance. If no, well then I won't get it detailed.

Raised beds for sure but of course you would need someone else to build them if that is possible. I have two built of two layers of concrete blocks. The inside is 3 1/2 feet across so I can sit on them and reach to the middle to harvest, sow seeds etc.

When I bought my last car, they wanted to sell me a sealer for inside and out to keep things lasting longer. I said yes to the outside but no to the inside. Figured the "new car smell" off gassing would be bad enough. I did open windows and sun roof often in the beginning.
