Picking fresh fruit means, for me at least, making #homemade syrups. Strawberry, blackberry, and blueberry to be exact. I combine the act of making these with spells for health and mental clarity, and add them to my teas every morning.

For me, flowers, herbs, and trees are friends. Everyday I say good morning to the big tree in my back yard and gently caress the leaves of many of the floral bushes in my neighborhood.
I give them love.

Violets make the best syrup. Pick and remove the leaves, then rinse in cold water. Soak overnight in hot, not boiling, water.
Strain, then heat the violet water and add sugar. A simple syrup for tea or baking.
