Much discontent about loss of one of the most popular, well used and active @theRcot benefits. Members' concerns captured in 2024 & 2025 AGM Minutes.

Vital democratic member decision-making restored to stop unwanted expenditure, turnaround 4-5 years of deficits and make BAOT/RCOT relevant again.

Suspect this chart indicates a deficit culture @theRCOT - last 4 years expenditure outstriped income against a pattern of decreasing membership income.
What's your analysis?

Great to cite the Specialist Sections and those with lived experience, but does the guide draw on research about what works, when and for whom?
Useful to include references in the next version for an authorative, evidence-informed and practical guide.

Expect many members are looking forward to the answers to their questions asked at, or sent to, the AGM in Edinburgh.

I am. Asked about 4 years of deficit accounts; support for workforce policies of doctor substitution; ethics and value of members' money used to monitor social media. See below:

Yes, decades. As far as we know, occupational therapy started in Wales, at Cardiff City Mental Hospital in 1930.
A hospital wide service for in and out patients @whitchurchhospital.bsky.social was led by Patricia Sunderland. See bulletin.ukahn.org/patricia-sun...

Also proud of team research into the life and legacy of Patricia Sunderland, probably the first #OccupationalTherapist in Wales.
Opened hospital wide service @WhitchurchHosp in 1930.

Check out Micheal Eraut, an expert in workplace based learning and competence. A deep thinker and educator. Sadly missed, but his publications may be helpful.
