Trust me, none of the middle and lower income retirees I know are closing our eyes. We are not wealthy enough for that foolishness. We are seeing attacks on SSA and VA and now they are saying another leg off the stool that supports us.

The tragedy is that it took a couple of decades to build a robust high quality system for treating veterans. What veterans came home to in the 1970s and even the early 1980s was a travesty.
