There is so much I didn’t think I would ever do as a pastor. One is listening to immigration lawyers educate us about what to do if ICE shows up to our churches. 💔

Just this week: I felt the anxiety in my body rise after Monday, caught vomit in my hands on Tuesday, rocked and held my ailing child on Wednesday, cleaned vomit from the carpet on Thursday (other child), got sick myself all day Friday, and wrote a sermon on Saturday morning. Someone give me a prize

I can feel the anxiety in my body increasing this week. Trying to keep centered through exercise, cuddles, and focus on what is important. We can do hard things.
