A billowy white of giving up and just submitting to the relentless scream of fascism and capitalism

A lofty white that serves as a symbol of rising white supremacy

A softly empty white of dying brains wiped of original thoughts by overuse of LLM chatbots

A cold lonely white echoing in the Void

OMG this has nothing to do with "harnessing your creativity" and everything to do with avoiding paying for the rights to existing literature/IPs. It's unequivocally gross and the outputs will be lower quality that actual books. Please stop this. www.theguardian.com/technology/n...

The weird potent blend of nostalgia, pride, and offended I feel when I'm advertised a retro club night that sounds like the last time I regularly went clubbing

Yesterday the team at Night Crew Games revealed our take on the iconic Johnny Silverhand! I love how this modern interpretation looks. For those wondering why he isn't Keanu, the original character first introduced in Cyberpunk 2020 was a lot more Bowie-esque & looks like this.

Reposting about this project which was on hold while I gathered some useful references - the target art style is in the vein of Tomiya Oda (1896–1990) and Kazuya Naka (1911–2015) - think modern adaptation of Edo Period Japanese woodblock prints. B&W line art, with grace & naturalism.

Honestly so wonderful and wholesome to be here and see folks faces just light up as they play the game, discover the story, the artwork ☺️

To block hashtags on Bluesky, navigate to Moderation settings and add the hashtag as a muted word. Ahhhhhh. That's better.

Another piece of media that had a huge influence on my aesthetic when I was young, maybe 12 or 14 years old, I think does not get remembered enough, and that is VURT by Jeff Noon. The follow up Pollen was also great. The first book really broke my brain and all the best ways.

Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep and UBIK made early and cataclysmic impressions on me and I proceeded to read somewhere between 20 and 30 PKD books over many visits to the library in my middle school-teen years. Dude wrote a lot of books.

Very interesting piece at ATA Left Window right now. What a thing to encounter at midnight on a walk. The longer I looked the better it got. @ataconnect.bsky.social

When you realize the men in charge are eugenicists, a lot of things make sense. Suffering, death, suicide - they aren't dissuaded when we cry out that these will follow because these are the intended results of their actions. www.motherjones.com/politics/202...

Not even a fig leaf type response of, "Thanks for your concern, we're looking into it" or even a generic, "Spotify cares what customers think." Nothing. Just a door slam. Offensive, sure. Weirdly unprofessional.

It seems that #Spotify simply advised their services reps to hang up.

AI robocalls are a thing now. "Sales? Customer Support? Operations? or creating a product on top of us? We can do it all. Just start by telling Bland how to act. Pick or clone any voice. [...] Bland will send or receive phone calls however you want, with emotion." Waiting for literally any regs.
