One of my daughters turned down an offer for a STEM graduate slot at a prominent university because talking with the grad students there she heard about how many professors make sleeping with them a requirement for chairing their thesis.

Unfortunately our physical office closed and there is no more morning commute for me.

Crazy how much harder it is to wake up early enough to go for a bike ride when a bike ride isn’t necessary to get to my job to pay the bills.

For context, this is from the days I used to bike to work in shorts and bring my office clothes in my panniers.
