For 9th grade history we will be using Curiosity Chronicles Early Modern history plus some readings from the MyWorld textbook and activity guide. I will also add in additional projects plus Crash Course. #secularhomeschool #accuratehistory

Yesterday the kid and I went to Detroit to visit the aquarium and Lego Discovery Center for their homeschool week. It was a nice way to get out town and take a break from the world. We had a blast! #homeschool #secularhomesxhool

For science this year we are using RSO Astronomy 2 by Pandia Press. We loved the author’s climate change curriculum that we did last year. I also add in secular resources to our astronomy with Blossom & Root Science Level 5.

We use finished the part of American history from before asshole (aka before Columbus) through the French & Indian War. My daughter loved the focus on indigenous Americans. Now before we start the revolution era we need to have a good background about the history of racism.
