That was a classy speech from Dutton and I love that we get to do elections peacefully in this country. It ain't like that everywhere and we should never take it for granted.

Thanks to the National Security College, Federation Press, and all guests for launching "National Security Law in Australia". Great to hang with some contributing authors. Believe it or not, we had 230 registrations for the event! A discipline for the times.

In addition to the actual sensible arguments (pluralism and respect are healthy things, etc), I think the Aborginal and Torres Strait Islander flags are beautiful. They invoke our landscape and (as a non-Indigenous Australian), I feel really proud when I see them. May they always fly proud.
