- The company shared a LinkedIn post today with: a) no apology, b) the barest of tweaks, c) some blaming of the customer base for good measure: “While we have shared updates on Nonprofit Pages across webinars, articles, emails, and conferences throughout this year, we could do a better job” etc.

- Or more accurately - I assume that you can request noindexing, but I don't know! I’ve been trying to log in and claim ownership of the page for TWO DAYS.
“We’ve encountered an error, please contact support”.
Yesterday I assumed it was due to the AWS outage. Guess not;

- As others have pointed out, you can only request the page to be noindexed by logging in and claiming your page (meaning GFM get all the search traffic to their presumably very strong existing domain);

- there’s significant doubt as to whether any of these donations would actually make it to us via PayPal (screenshot credit to Christina Tzavaras Edwards);

- I made a test donation to figure out where the hell the money would go (and declined the 16.5% “tip”) - my acknowledgement email was full of lorem ipsum;

- The patronizing language on the page makes each nonprofit sound like they were founded yesterday (longevity builds trust with a donor base! Misrepresenting our history is damaging!);
