Funny. My toilet lights gave up just today. I was planning to replace them but now I consider candles.

Very nice. I like the design of Size Matters and Dashboard the most. I found that presentation of Pebble watchfaces on computer screen doesn't show how great those look. Because Pebble uses different display technology. Especially with BW watchfaces.

Since my first phone I have prerecorded message that's played when I decline incoming call. In that message I pretend to answering the call with fake "Hello, how can I help you". Back then I've made it as a joke but now every AI spammer gets trapped by it thinking I answered the call.

I don't know what is the speed difference, probably depends on the case, but I like to think that calling multiple free() is slower than leaving cleanup to the kernel. So usually I don't do cleanup on exit.

"Snakes. Why did it have to be snakes?" Can't help but to think of Indiana Jones when seeing this. Looks great!

I see your point. But I'm open for the possibility that it's difficult to imagine improvements before they happen. Many inventions seems obvious only after someone discovers them.

I recently read "The UNIX Programming Environment" book published in 1978 and I was surprised how most of software challenges didn't changed and authors already labeled UNIX as old system.

Most common convention is to use single dash and single letter for short flags, and double dash with long name for descriptive flags. Any reasons for having single dash with long name in your experimental lib?

I remember watching interview with creators. They tried to avoid having any dialogs but pressure from producers forced them to add some. Still, it's the planet that plays the main role and art style is heavily influenced by Moebius work. It's breathtaking!

I rewatched Tsoding's Olive.c series recently and rly liked how he avoided using floats. Your use case with headless rendering is very cool. This is the way!

I believe that how they gave up on IE and now maintain Chromium wrapper, they will gave up on Windows and will maintain proprietary Linux distribution.
