For me, edge sacks became slightly deflated when they added a 17th game -- 10 sacks over 17 games is easier than 10 over 16. Plus, the big name edges cost SO much. Better to have a good rotation and save $$$ for a dominant DT like Jalen Carter who brings a multiplier effect on the field.

Agree with this 100%. I finally understood this after the performance Fangio & Co put on in the Super Bowl -- i.e., contain Mahomes and don't let him scramble and cook. Really drove home the value of contain, dropping into coverage, good DBs, etc.
