I don't know because I'm a professional lurker, but I have seen people specifying it in their posts when they want it. And some communities have explicit guidelines regarding it.

Because critique isn't the only point. I like it and always want it, but for a lot of people it's community building, connecting with other creatives, etc. That's why people tend to hashtag what they're looking for. Free speech so do whatever, but people will feel how they're gonna feel about it.

"Averted" very much is used in reference to looking away from specific things. "Corpse" fits the tone of this WIP. I respectfully disagree with this critique. Also general standard in the community is that people will specify if they're looking for feedback, FYI only, do what you want of course.
