How much of the increase of “new” antisemitism (blaming Jews for Israel’s acts post Oct 7) is the fault of Netanyahu’s government who repeatedly weaponised antisemitism? By calling critics of Israel antisemites, have they not themselves drawn a direct link between the state of Israel and all Jews?

Good to see you branching out from the animations! You may have meant something different but didn’t Ahsoka first cross paths with Huyang in that arc in The Clone Wars when she took younglings off on a ship to find their kyber crystals?

Stephanie Ruhle was great in this episode. Her insight about the fallacy of business people automatically being good at running public services is something I’ve always thought. In the UK, this was borne out by the privatisation of things like railway and water, which we’re now seeing unravel.

One requirement for defamation is that it must make people think less of you, which I’m not sure is actually possible in relation to Truss at this point…

I don’t disagree with what you’ve written but would add that it’s also important to acknowledge that the left can be just as bad as the right in tribalism.
I’ve voted, at different GEs, Tory, Labour, Lib Dems and Green and so find the lack of honest and intelligent debate particularly irritating!

Love the show but this specific issue I felt you were toeing the mainstream political/media line too much. Mitchell referred to hypocrisy - ironic when he referred to the UN resolution with regard to Hezbollah whilst ignoring those that Israel is in breach of.

To be fair, I expect they were referring to how life began. Scientists point to the creation of the universe from the big bang. If a Christian were to suggest that God caused the big bang and an atheist suggested that no, the big bang just happened on its own, that’s the “ex nihilo” point.
