Just before my senior year of college, I experienced a series of challenges over the course of 7 months that my 23 year old self felt was insurmountable. I was ready to give it all up - church, music, teaching and even God. That’s when I decided to trust God foreal.

My grandma is turning 100 years old this July! We started the celebration with a fashion show this weekend. She LOVES to get dressed, mostly for church, head to toe! Literally, cuz she old school saved! 🤣 It was great to spend time with my people. #CatTheGreat100

I love teaching this piece to students as a way to explore musicality! This clinic was short but we made amazing progress. After this run through we discussed ways to make our performance even more effective. Baby, the children played with they WHOLE SOULS down to that concert! 😮💨

My first trip to Nebraska is this week. I’ll be joining Omaha Public Schools for their 75th All City Festival as high school clinician and commissioned composer! The students will be premiering Golden Triumph for string orchestra!
